The Guardian
We’ve made several films for The Guardian, including a series featuring ‘Agony Aunt’ Philippa Perry and discussing issues around finding work, sabotaging relationships, and starting a family. Directed by Sophie Koko Gate the films feature hand-drawn 2D animation in a pared-back style.
“tnx i feel the same too , i wanna keep motivated but i don't know where to start i wanna do a lot of things but i don't finish none of theme , after that video i think i'll rethink again ,i hope i can find what iam looking for.” (posted to Vimeo)
Another film was made for the 'Comment is Free' strand, where a contributor talks directly to camera on their chosen topic. The hard-hitting video features a frank talk about rape, and how a lack of knowledge around rape leads to people blaming themselves. Iris Abols directed with a bold painterly style.
