Kiki & Remus

An award-winning directing duo who came through our first ever NewD incubator. Their passion for way-out humour sits perfectly with their detailed, graphic, comic book design style. Kiki & Remus scored a break-out hit with their hilarious Dateless, and their films screen all over the world.

We were approached by Natural History museum to create a film for their new exhibition; ‘Venom: Killer and Cure’ The video sits behind 3 of the venomous specimens on display in the exhibition space – the Cone Snail, Rattle Snake and Stone Fish. The aim was to explain the biological characteristics of venom and how it works, illustrating the scientific content behind the creatures on display. Directing duo Kiki & Remus came up with this abstract, textured design to fit within the overall dark and moody atmosphere of the exhibition space itself.

A series of romantically unfortunate twentysomethings are interviewed, describing in vivid detail their expectations as they search for the ideal partner. Directed by Kiki & Remus the film received it's online premiere exclusively through Cartoon Brew's 5th annual Student Animation Festival.
